PAGES FROM MY JOURNAL #5

August 17 Whenever a change or a problem arises I don't usually like it because its random. I do though understand that its simply part of life. I don't think I can question the universe its just what happens but when it i try to solve the problem efficiently. I don't like creating problems I want to live a calm exiting life.  August 19  What makes a book interesting is the book itself, the story the way it be written and told all do be factors make a book interesting, But I personally believe if you like new perspectives then you will find books interesting. December 18 I completed all my late and new assignments and I believe I passed all my classes for the first time in a while. I even finished my Plato course, yet I don't feel the happiness I usually get from completing something like this. I don't know or maybe I do know the cause but I'm just grateful for were I am in this point of the universe, THAN KYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINAL REFLECTION FOR AMERICAN LITERATURE 2020-2021

This year/semester was unlike any other, it was a wonderful collection of time were I lost and found. The 2020 year has been one of the best experiences to grow because of all the things happening but even with covid 19  and every small and big death that has happened, you'd think that school and the current curtain of illusion will have fallen by now. But I do got to give it to both of them, they have pretty sturdy foundations which do hold them up to the purpose their suppose to hold. I simply cant blame life for the bad things that happen because life is what gives me every blessing as well, its all part of connecting back. I knew this course was gonna be different since the first week, nothing but one post was posted on canvas. When I saw it for the first time I knew that it was gonna be different for that reason. Even our zoom meetings were different, you felt invited to be part of something great. What made this course great is that you had the choice to choose the grade you

October 29 I balance my self by just putting on the cloths I think look fine its not rocket science. I feel like I dress decently because of me just putting on cloths that is fine. My style is chill because I'm chill. I only like to spend money on things I need because its simple, you don't need much to survive but since life is life you want wants, my wants would be just guitar and and things that bring excitement to the experience of life. The choices in life are many but once you take down the curtain of illusion you can see all you need is just peace and love. That's how the balance I put in my life shapes me. November 6 I am learning to be better then I was yesterday. I will say that its not that easy because theirs lots of temptation and days when you do work and you don't see change, but that's because I need more patience. I have started to use my time more accordingly and I have started to workout to get into better shape. I am also hoping to create a sche

September 10 In my mind I remembered an experience I had 5 years ago. I don't even know why I thought of it, it just came back to me after so much time of thinking. All I know is that I learned what I had to from remembering that experience. It made me calmer and reassured me a slice of  peace, but I now know  that I must take my chances and if you cant control it don't worry about it. September 12  I want to create a natural medicine made out of plants for the people. Many diseases shouldn't exists its all part of their flow of life.  I just want everybody to have a chance in life, its beautiful. A chance were said organism can live up to there true potential and dreams.  September  15  Life I remember when I was innocent, it was truly a priceless gift that life gave me, I remember when I didn't care but now I have seen the truth and I am forced care. The truth of seeing what we as a species are capable of , all things good and bad. It all hurts to see and feel but th

August 31 Bukowski tells you to not stay still in the darkness to look for the light. I agree that you should because stillness is death. He try's to show us a way to not stay still which does name the unnamable, point at frauds, and all that a poet's poem is suppose to do. There is always something to do, look for the light and come out of the darkness. September 2 Why can we bring/create things just like my typing, its being created as I think like this, this, this, this, this, and this. Its just me righting/typing with an Pen/electric powered piece of plastic and metal called a computer but something about creating something that could have probably never been created feels good. I don't like to type/right much because I feel things should be simple and to the point but complexity is beautiful too. September 3 The words you choose to speak shape who you are as a person because you are creating those words. The words you have spoken were once your thoughts meaning that wh

August 18  I don't really like school that much because their needs to be some serious change. But the act of just going to a new class in  a new way is a memorable moment in it self.  August 20 Young people don't know about the real world and regrets so that makes them want to be older. While older people might want be younger because they have regrets or maybe they just miss there innocence in a way. I feel fine about my age because I know ill eventually get crusty and die like the rest. August 21 Love is a common thing for all humans, that is why it is important but most people don't realize that sometimes people have bigger love for there desires, so eventually it all goes down because of lack of understanding. At least those are my thoughts.

THE SCARIEST STORY

What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story? To show that the people around us often lie and have more then 1 face. Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith.  After reading the story, do you agree?  Yes because it adds to the story. Does Faith's name fit her personality? Yes because it goes with the same idea of her pink ribbon's  Does Brown have true faith in her? I believe he wants to but many factors like them being barely married for 3 months tells me he doesn't. What do you think the pink ribbons signify? They symbolize the innocence behind faith"  letting the wind play with the pink ribbons of her cap" and  "Then God bless you!" said Faith, with the pink ribbons" (Examples) Was everything Brown witnessed real, a figment of his imagination, something conjured by evil, or a dream?  Support your answer with passages from the text. "when he had lived long, and was borne to his grave, a

THE MEANING OF A NATIVE AMERICAN STORY

The story sure has its flaws because its more meant for kids but I think people who do believe in the meaning don't mind. The meaning for me is that no matter how big or small you are, you have potential to become something great or help and be part of something great.

IT'S SYMBOLIC

(part 2 was unviable to me so I just did it๐Ÿ˜Ž) 1. Please describe three examples of symbols you encounter in your life. Billboard, advertisement, newspaper. 2. Please describe two possible meanings of the green light at the end of Daisy's dock in The Great Gatsby. To be green with envy or that it was his chance to make a move. 3. What are some ways people are similar to animals? we give, we take, we eat, we sheet, we mate, we sleep. 4. What is the one major way people are different from every other animal, including other hominid species? We think differently and we are just not the same genetically.  5. How does telling stories -- and inventing symbols -- empower people to organize in large numbers? People will recognize the symbol and stand for what it means if they like the symbol/stories. 1. What is the difference between a sign and a symbol? A sign tells you something A symbol stands for something  2. What are the three elements of the symbolic relationship (the "blue t
